K Hotel 14

The front desk staff were reasonably friendly, but the rooms are extremely small and seem to have a serious bug problem. While I was sitting in the room, tiny ants, or maybe something worse, crawled across my glasses lenses. That says enough about the room's condition. I can't recommend staying here and would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

My friend, who has mild asthma, said he couldn't breathe in the room, so we left soon after finding somewhere else to stay. The place was dirty, damp, and smelled of cigarettes. The tiny room was basically just a bed and a toilet/shower. There was no obvious sign it had been cleaned, and we saw plenty of dirt and hair. There was no top bedding, only a fleece sheet that didn't look washed. I'd stayed on the same street before at the Ibis, but it wasn't available for these dates. I expected something similar, with small rooms and basic facilities. The bad reviews appeared after I booked. Management kept replying with the same comments about being sad guests didn't enjoy their stay and taking the reviews under advisement. DO NOT BOOK.

I stayed here from November 6-9, 2025, and there was never a refill of drinking water, toothpaste, or even a towel. There were many lice, or some kind of mites, in the bed. The service from the cashier with a tattoo on his finger was among the worst I've experienced. Workers and their clothes were all over the floors. This place is really unworthy. Whoever you are, don't stay here or you'll regret it. If you think I'm making this up to beat the hotel, I'm not. This is the true truth. If you don't believe me, try just one night.

Avoid this hotel if you can. The housekeeping was awful, and the bed, sheets, pillow, and pillowcase smelled like rotten eggs and seemed infested with bed bugs. The room was very small for the price. Check-in staff were nowhere to be seen, and the hotel felt unsafe and noisy after hours. I highly recommend that the Singapore Health Authority shut down this near bottom standard of unhygienic accommodation for a thorough clean up.
