The place was disgusting. The room smelled of Indian, the curtains and bedsheets were dirty, and there was still hair and a red stain on the sheets. The toilet was the smallest I’ve ever seen, with barely any room to move while showering. The air in the room stank so badly that nobody could accept it, and the decor was so dated it made me want to puke. I checked out an hour after arriving, and the owner didn’t even bother to ask why. They also require you to pay $3 to become a member. I’m sorry, you could pay me and I still wouldn’t stay here. I’m not a picky traveller, but the service and hygiene were far below acceptable. There are better hotels for the same money. Even the nearby modest Taipei hotel is better than this horrible place. Please avoid it at all costs.

The staff were kind and friendly during my one-night stay, but the room was shockingly filthy. Dust was all over, the bathroom and air conditioning had mold, and there were unfamiliar hairs and blood stains on the bed. I also found hair and dirt on the floor. The place felt old and run-down, and the window wouldn't shut properly. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The photos show what I mean.

For a tight budget, this is an okay place, and the morning and evening staff yesterday were helpful. The room and bed are cramped, though, and the bathroom is especially small. If you're six feet or taller, you'll have to squeeze in.

The room was spacious and really comfortable, and I liked having a hot shower and a mosquito net. There's an elevator too. The sheets weren't clean, though, and some spots were dusty. It may be cheap by Singapore standards, but it didn't feel cheap to us.

The mirror beside the bed is huge, which may appeal if that's what you're after. The room and toilet, though, were tiny and dirty, with dust, dead bugs, and the occasional roach. The facade looks aged, and nearby hotel chains are better maintained for less money. Payment is cash or QR only.
