Mondrian Singapore Duxton

The hotel is beautiful, service was great, and the rooftop pool is incredible. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms are comfortable and well laid out. The location is excellent, near Chinatown and with good train connections. When we rode the trains they were almost empty, so I’d recommend using them to get around the city, apart from to and from the airport. The concierge team was amazing with recommendations and taxis. Our one issue was the room assignment. We were placed above The Jungle Room cocktail bar, which is open until 2am Wednesday through Saturday. We had a five-month-old baby, and I’m not sure why we were given that room. The hotel seemed full of people without children who were probably there for the nightlife. The bar looked good, and the room might have suited those guests better. There was no cot in our room when we arrived either.

Mondrian Singapore Duxton gave us a wonderful stay, with a stunning, clean, spacious, comfortable room and lovely views. Staff were kind, professional, and very hospitable. We’re especially grateful to the assistant manager, Miss Soo Lai Yin. The hotel made a great base for Singapore. It’s in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by excellent places to eat and well connected by several MRT stations, so exploring nearby or travelling farther was easy. With a rooftop pool and bar, daily happy hour, great in-house catering, and a well stocked gym, it was also an ideal place to relax before going out or after a busy day of sightseeing. We look forward to coming back.

The staff were pleasant throughout, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. We celebrated my birthday on the rooftop, where the friendly bartenders gave us some freebies. Spending the evening up there was relaxing before a good night's sleep, and the area is calm and quiet. Since we had a night flight on our last day, they kept our luggage after checkout so we could go around and return for it later. The service went beyond what we expected. Highly recommend!

The staff made this stay, from the concierge to the restaurant team and reception. Everyone was welcoming, professional, friendly, and so helpful that they couldn’t have done more to make our stay and Singapore trip go well. The rooms were superb, the food spectacular, and the whole place stunning. The rooftop infinity pool has especially beautiful views. It’s right by Chinatown, with a calmer, quieter feel at the hotel, but only an eight-minute walk to all the bustle. I honestly recommend it wholeheartedly, and I’m already planning to come back to Singapore just to stay here.
