Orchard Point Serviced Apartments

The staff are friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed talking with them. The location is one of the best in Singapore, with connections to anywhere. There’s a small rooftop pool where you can relax after a long walk.

Food and shopping were only a few steps away during our seven-day stay, and the location was great, with easy access to the MRT and bus routes. The apartment was spacious, very clean and had all the facilities described on the website. Staff were really friendly, and it was worth the money. We’re looking forward to staying again next month and plan to keep coming back whenever we visit Singapore.

The apartment was very expensive but had no quality at all. The bed was uncomfortable, the springs showed, and I had backaches all over. The apartment was very old, the paint was worn out, cabinets were broken, and there were leaks everywhere, especially when it rained. Soundproofing was bad, and staff shouted to one another in the hallway, so you couldn’t sleep. We stayed a month because they wouldn’t refund us. The manager, Kath, was no help. They kept making me feel stupid. We had to take the new room shown in these photos because the other options were just as bad as the old one. Our tours were already booked, and there was no time to find another hotel. The room we’re renting has broken doors and cabinets, clogged sinks, yellowed water from the bathtub and leaks everywhere. We reported it once, but staff came only after two days. By then, we’d reworked and cleaned it ourselves to avoid more hassle. We have a toddler who walks and runs around, so we felt we had no choice but to fix things ourselves. Communication was difficult, and we didn’t want another argument. Are you trying to make us look like liars? Housekeeping was lousy, so we stopped requesting service and cleaned everything ourselves. The noise is still the same, with extra sounds from the ceiling from the unit above. In the video from our bedroom, you can hear every movement upstairs. The management response lied about what happened. Check other reviews to see how nasty they are. They didn’t sincerely apologize for what we went through and instead made us look like liars, even though the photos clearly show this is their hotel. Are they really that desperate to sell their rooms? If you want a stress-free, memorable vacation, think twice and stay away, as many other reviewers have warned. If you’re willing to waste your money and deal with unnecessary stress, go ahead and book here.

They need to clean the apartments more often. We left the trash outside, and it sat there for two days.
