Orchard Grand Court

The breakfast buffet is the highlight for me, and the rooms and accommodation are superb. Staff are warm and helpful, and the location is hard to believe at this nightly price. If you're planning a long trip to Singapore, give it a try. I humbly guarantee you won't regret my recommendation.

The staff greeted me with smiles every time and made me feel welcome. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a washer and dryer that suited my needs exactly. I found this little gem while booking and hadn’t realized how convenient it was: nearby attractions were an easy walk, and public transport made it simple to get further out. A very good option.

The apartment was spacious for one person, with a kitchenette and good washer-dryer. A few things could be improved: the Wi-Fi made me log in again every time I came back, so automatic login for the whole stay would help. A hand soap dispenser in the bathroom, plus a kitchen bin and somewhere to hang a hand towel, would be useful too.

Getting around was easy: bus 36 runs every 9 minutes between the airport terminals and Winsland bus stop, about a five-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a 24-hour supermarket in the building. The room had a big fridge and freezer, plates, cups, wine glasses, scissors, a wine opener and slippers, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was a good size, and breakfast had tasty Asian food and plenty of fruit. A few downsides: the room shades were too bright and malfunctioning, there was no cleaning or change of bed linen or towels on weekends, and the breakfast café was very cold. They only provide shower gel and shampoo. Still, this was the most convenient hotel stay I’ve ever had.
