The place was comfy and in a really strategic spot, though the staff weren't very friendly and breakfast was so-so, mostly toast. We stayed three nights, four people in a very small room with two bunk beds, so it was cramped. There was no space for our two big and two small suitcases, and we had to put them under the beds. The bathrooms are outside the room and were clean enough.

We had a private room and bathroom for three nights. It was an okay stay, but the toilet smelled musty and there was rubbish wedged between the bed and the wall. The ventilation was poor enough that on two of the three nights we could smell smoke from someone in another room. We wish we'd slept better and that the place had been a little cleaner with fresher air.

It's affordable and works for a short stopover or backpacking, but the rooms are extremely tiny and have no windows. Some rooms are shared with other guests, men and women together. Breakfast has such a limited selection that it might as well not be offered.

The location is great, with plenty of food stalls nearby, including Chinese, Turkish, Serian, and Indian. But at about $40/head, this wasn't good value. The rooms are cramped, with no air circulation, and some of our travel mates found soiled sheets in their rooms. Look closely and you'll see black mold in the showers. They give only two towels per room, and a small bottle of shampoo costs $1.00, when it's usually free at most hotels. Don't stay here. Beware of nasty mold and crawly things.

I wanted to leave, but my friend convinced me to put up with it for just one night. This was the worst hostel I've stayed in. The walls were moldy, the bathroom door was rusty, and the bedsheet was dusty and dirty. We were sleeping right under waste pipes, so we could clearly hear flushing and water running above our heads and couldn't sleep well. We checked out early in the morning and felt so refreshed once we stepped outside. Please don't waste your money here!
