Apartments Vila Cvetka Bled

Our apartment was spacious and had what we needed for a comfortable stay, though the style felt a little old fashioned. We could check in early, and the staff were both professional and friendly. The lake is about a six-minute walk away, and parking is free. We visited in May, and without heating the room could get a bit cold.

We were charged an €80 cleaning fee despite leaving the apartment in good condition. There were hardly any cleaning supplies there either, not even basics like a broom, cloths, or surface cleaner, so we didn’t have the tools to clean properly ourselves. When we questioned the charge, the host spoke to us very aggressively and rudely. We felt extremely uncomfortable, as if we were being told off like children over something we felt was unfair. It was unprofessional and left a sour end to our trip. There are plenty of other options in Lake Bled where guests can expect basic decency.

There was lots of natural light in our apartment, with greenery all around it. Inside, it was clean and very nice, especially the bathroom and living room. My wife and I were greeted by a kind, hospitable owner. If we come back to Bled, we’d stay at Vila Cvetka again.

The apartment was very spacious, with plenty of room for parking. It’s an easy walk to Lake Bled and the restaurants, and the location is awesome. Our host was great and shared lots of ideas for tours.
