Hotel Krvavec

The location is fantastic, and honestly it's the hotel's main advantage. We came as a family of four for a ski vacation and really enjoyed the slopes. The food was okay, tasty enough, though nothing special. Our room had a constant clicking and clacking sound, as if from a boiler or heat pump, which disturbed our sleep. The rooms are quite worn and badly need renovation, as the photos show. The so-called “fun room” also requires tokens to play any games, which feels like a rip-off. The hotel is nowhere near the standard advertised on its homepage. Most of the awards it highlights are from 10 years ago, and it shows. Still, we'll come again because the location is well worth it.

A couple of months after I booked a hotel room, management messaged to say they were offering me an apartment instead of hotel accommodation. I declined, and then the hotel stopped replying. I'm glad they showed their attitude toward guests and their idea of “hospitality” in advance. Luckily, this happened early enough that my vacation wasn't spoiled.

We're waiting for the main course at this NYE dinner, and it's been 40 minutes. Almost everyone else has their food already. Only us and one larger table are still waiting endlessly. I don't understand the poor service or why the kitchen is taking so long. I didn't expect much at this price, but this isn't acceptable. A guy also just made a huge scene and insulted guests. It's not okay, and it ruined NYE for a lot of people here!

A three-star hotel with good three-star service. It's right on the ski slope, with an Apresski bar nearby and parking close to the hotel. The local food is delicious, and the rooms are clean.
