Lake House Sebanc

We had everything needed for a stay of a few nights. Our apartment didn’t have a washing machine or dishwasher, but we didn’t need either. The rooms were clean, the host was nice and friendly, and the location was incredible, close to the lake and a 15 minute walk from the town center.

The owners are kind and helpful, and the place itself is beautiful, especially where it sits. I’ve stayed twice and loved it both times. It’s family-run, and I already look forward to bringing my future family here. Highly recommend, with love from the US, Caity

Walking around the lake took us about two hours, but I wouldn’t plan a return visit. I didn’t see beaches, so it doesn’t seem suited to swimming or sunbathing, though you might try SUP or a small boat. For me, four hours at the lake and taking in the view would be enough. The nicest photo spot I found was on the north side, across from the big mountains. We came in winter and rented an apartment with a lake view. The view wasn’t especially colorful or impressive, and homes higher up the hill seemed likely to have a brighter outlook. Parking beside the house was unprotected, close to the walking path. Inside, there was a well-equipped kitchen, a balcony with chairs, one bedroom, a private bathroom, towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer. The decor felt dated, but there were no odd smells. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut and kept opening by itself. A key would have helped secure it, but the host was honest that he couldn’t fix the door or find the keys.

Gasper and Franc were so helpful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. We had a fantastic holiday in their spacious, bright apartment, kept spotlessly clean. It’s in a large house right on the shore of magical Lake Bled. We’ll be back again and again.
