Rudi made us feel welcome right away and shared helpful tips for Bled. The apartment was lovely, with free parking and a 10-15 minute walk to the lake. Dogs are welcome, and there’s no extra fee for them.

We loved it. The bed was great, the shower got properly hot, and everything was super clean. It’s dog friendly and just a five minute walk from the town centre. The room was phenomenal, and the host is amazing, and famous.

The house is about 1.5 kilometers from Lake Bled, with plenty of good local restaurants nearby. Breakfast isn’t provided, but the host told us about the Bled Farm Breakfast program for 12 euro pro person. We tried it once and really enjoyed it. Our host was friendly and helpful, sharing information before we arrived and at check-in. They used to be an athlete and speak good Italian. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the table and two chairs outside the window would be lovely to use in summer.
