Apartmaji Skok

The staff were fairly nice, but I found the stay very average. The bathroom flooded after every shower, the mattresses and pillows were poor, and the kitchen supplies were rough: there was barely any cloth or kitchen paper, and the only pan was tiny and low quality. There was no AC or bathroom toiletries either, so I bought shampoo for one use. I paid 158 euros for one night at the end of August 2024, which felt too expensive. I'd consider 80-100 euros reasonable for what you get, but at that price I can't recommend it.

The rafting arranged through the accommodation was the highlight, one of our best experiences in Slovenia. Our instructor was professional, kind, relaxed, and very funny, and we had a great time with him on the Soca river. We only stayed one night and arrived late in heavy rain, but that was no issue: they left everything open for us, and everyone was very kind. The room was older, though very spacious and well equipped. It even had a bathtub and a nice private balcony with a lovely mountain view.

The staff were lovely, and the location worked well for walking to cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and a supermarket. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nice, though a little expensive. The curtains didn't keep much light out, and the shower always splashed water all over the bathroom despite our best efforts.

It's a good base for kayaking or hiking, with restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. The apartment had what we needed, including a toaster, and a small balcony. The bathroom was modern too.
