Hvala

Hotel Hvala is right in the town center, at the start of the Kobarid Historical Trail. Our balcony had a lovely view, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Housekeeping was quick and thorough. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and gave us maps and useful suggestions for the area. She even called the tourist office to get more information for us. The restaurant servers were super friendly, and the food was really good. Breakfast was ready when we came down, so there was no waiting. We had a comfortable, practical stay with my family for two nights, and I’d gladly return.

After long days on the river, we really enjoyed the delicious food at Hotel Hvala’s restaurant. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We chose the hotel for a fly fishing trip in Kobarid, and it worked out very well. It’s right in the heart of town, a handy base for fishing along the Soča and exploring the area. The clear water, dramatic mountains, and peaceful surroundings are stunning. We’d definitely come back.

A family-run place and an absolute gem in Posočje. We visit their restaurant often, and they never disappoint. The seafood is among the best in Slovenia, maybe even the best.

The town is cosy, with lots of great restaurants, and the location is really nice. The hotel itself is nice too, though the shower is over the bath. My one complaint was the receptionist, who wasn’t very kind. She seemed like she might have been working in the industry for too long.
