Nate made the welcome feel personal from the moment I arrived. He took my bags, offered me a drink, then checked me in while I had a break in the lounge. He also brought a map and helped me get my bearings, had restaurant ideas ready, and even set aside an umbrella for my walks the next day. The breakfast team were another bright spot, always smiling and making delicious food. My included made-to-order breakfast was a daily highlight, especially the eggs benedict royale. The hotel is spotless, and my room was comfortable with thoughtful details. The minibar was complimentary and well stocked. They also provide a phone with a local SIM for maps and calling the hotel if you need directions. It's under five minutes to the center, with the sights, bars, and restaurants all easy to reach on foot. I have elite status with several hotel brands, but this is the place I'd choose and recommend here. Honestly, if it fits your budget, you can stop looking. I don't see how you'd find a better stay.

The food was top notch, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. It's also a good base for exploring the city and taking day trips elsewhere in the country. My only suggestion would be to provide thicker pillows, these felt a bit too thin. Otherwise, an excellent hotel.

For our first visit to Ljubljana, Hotel Cubo was great value and well placed, just a short stroll from the river and the center of town. The rooms were spacious and had modern facilities, plus a complimentary minibar that was refilled every day. Breakfast offered plenty of good choices and came out quickly. Everyone on staff was wonderful and helpful, and having reception open 24 hours was reassuring.

The Thai food from room service was really good, and breakfast was simply out of this world. The room had everything we needed, felt modern, and came with a free minibar. Everyone working there was super kind and ready to help. This has become my favorite hotel in Ljubljana, and maybe the best I've ever stayed in, even though I don't usually write reviews. Just one small suggestion: a pillow menu might be worth considering. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were too low for us. We could, of course, have asked reception for extras. Thanks for everything! Hvala lepa!

The location works well, and the rooms are spacious, new, and really nice. The reception space is very small. I'd have liked at least two medium bottles of water in the room; there was only one small bottle in the minibar.
