The location of Galeria River in Ljubljana couldn’t be better, and the rooms are very spacious. I liked the room and its modern shower. There’s no breakfast, though, and without air conditioning it felt like a sauna in August. Portable AC units would really help.

Great location, but the bed is small and makes a lot of noise, like it wasn’t assembled properly. If you’re traveling with a partner, you may want to check whether there’s enough room for two.

I stayed one night while renewing my passport and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the location was great. Having a fridge, microwave, kettle and dishes in the room made the stay even more pleasant. Thanks, Galeria River, for the warm welcome and generosity! Keep in mind there’s no elevator, which could be a problem if you have trouble with stairs.

The area is quiet but close to restaurants and popular sights, and the location is fantastic. My room felt especially spacious thanks to the high ceilings, with a comfortable layout, a good-sized fridge and a very large wardrobe. The downside is the lack of AC. In summer, around 35°C, a fan isn’t enough, so I wouldn’t recommend staying then.
