For an overnight stop near the train station, this place is safe and convenient, and the location is hard to beat. Trains run right overhead :). The bed is comfortable, and there are large lockers as well as a way to lock your own capsule bed, so security options are good. Don't expect much beyond that. There's very little common space, and it could feel claustrophobic if that's an issue for you. If everyone is up at once, you'd be on top of each other, though that didn't seem to happen. For a place with so few facilities, the price isn't great value. It's not a bad overnight stay, but look elsewhere if you're after a communal hostel atmosphere.

The dorm was shared with around ten other people, and the person who greeted us at the door couldn't speak any English, which made it hard to exchange information. The bed had a curtain you could lock for privacy and security, plus a light above it. Toilets and showers were clean and nice. The room was so hot it felt like a microwave. We sweated all night and couldn't sleep; leaving the curtain open barely helped. I also thought it was overpriced compared with other hostels nearby.

For one night before an early train, this worked perfectly and felt safe. It's a shared mixed dorm with shared bathroom and shower, located under the platforms at Ljubljana train station. The capsule-style sleeping area was clean and comfortable, and you can lock it. The train station has food and shopping within walking distance. If you're claustrophobic, this might not suit you. Bakhodir was a great host, considerate and quick to respond.

We spent the night of August 22 here after booking through Booking. Our train was 15 minutes late, and the person in charge harassed us over the phone about it. Then he yelled that he absolutely wanted cash, though this hadn't been mentioned in the reservation. We went into town to get money at a bank, and when we returned ten minutes later he was about to give our bed to someone else while keeping our payment. We had to argue hard just to keep the bed we'd reserved and paid for. He also charged us an extra late-arrival fee, which seemed like a usual practice for him. It was an incredibly stressful first night in Slovenia, and I absolutely don't recommend this horrible “hostel.” The single room had more than 20 people and was very hot, making it hard to sleep. There were just two toilets and two showers for everyone. When we tried charging our phones by USB, a “transferring data” message appeared, as if the phone was connected to a computer. I felt very stressed and unsafe here. Young women especially, please don't go.
