The service was kind, the rooms were cool, and breakfast was great. The American pancakes were a little dry and too sweet for me, but the omelette and smoothie were wonderful.

After three nights here, my partner and I felt it was one of the better hotels we’d booked on our longer trip. The room was excellent, breakfast was excellent too, and the staff were professional. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Ljubljana.

We had a spacious, clean room with everything we needed, and the staff were incredibly kind. Breakfast had a limited selection, but what we tried was very good. The location puts you right in the heart of the city, which was great for enjoying the center at night. I’d recommend staying here if you want to get around the center of Lubiana on foot without needing the car.

The bed was comfortable, and I got a good deal through booking.com, so the hotel was fine for the price. But the bathroom had several problems. The shower head was broken and sprayed in every direction, and water from the drain spread across the whole floor. The bathroom light changed colors, which made it impossible to see while taking out my contact lenses. There was also no privacy when using the bathroom, as other travelers have mentioned. The receptionist didn’t seem very interested in welcoming us. The electric roller shutters were terribly noisy when opening, loud enough to wake everyone. I’ve never seen anything like it.
