Mia B&B Ljubljana

The male host was friendly and helped with what we needed. He even brought us croissants and Prosecco for NYE. I give him the one star. The female host was unfriendly and didn't have the required English skills. Nothing else lived up to the pictures. The heating didn't work, and we didn't always have hot water. The living room was unbearably cold and unusable, and mold on its walls made it worse to spend any time there. We couldn't ventilate the kitchen or bathroom because the windows opened onto a room full of trash with an insanely bad smell. The toilet flush overflowed multiple times, the shower had no shower head holder, and the electricity went out several times while we cooked. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Everything else was basically zero-star level.

The bed was comfy, and the rooms, while not very big, were cozy and very clean. It's a cool home with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine.

We arrived with my friend and the owner said the place was under construction, then found us another room 20 minutes' drive away. It was tiny and horrible. Meanwhile, Mia Guesthouse had other clients staying there, so there was no construction. What a scam and a bunch of liars. I wish Google let me give zero stars. DON'T GO THERE!

Renat and the staff were extremely helpful and polite, and it's a very nice place, even for a month-long stay. It has a kitchen, parking, a TV room, and free breakfast. I'll definitely return if fate allows.
