If you’re looking to spend a bit less, WH apartments are a good budget option and worth the price. They’re just around the corner from one66 hotel in Ljubljana, and as part of one66 you can use some main hotel amenities, like the free bicycles. There’s private parking behind a gate, and reception is only a 50 m walk away. Room 203 was just what we expected: big enough, with a TV, fridge, space for clothes, its own bathroom, and air conditioning. Free coffee or tea is available too. Definitely recommend!

Lunch at One66 worked out well when the city restaurants I wanted to try were shut for the holiday. The pizza was delicious and big enough for two meals. If you like heat, try the locally made hot sauces. I missed breakfast at One66, which White House guests can have there. The room was modern, clean, roomy, and had a sleek feel. I liked being just outside the busy downtown area, with an easy starting point for exploring. Check-in was straightforward, and the receptionists were friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

The room itself was okay, but getting checked in was confusing. There was no front desk at the hotel, and we weren't told clearly that we had to go to the adjacent hotel to check in. We also had to check in there before we could park inside the fence. Otherwise, a guy hired by the McDonald's next door made sure we couldn't park in front of the hotel. Not a good start. I hope the hotel improves its communication.

We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay in a very clean room. Parking behind the fence was free. Check-in takes place next door at One66. Highly recommended.

After travelling around Europe, having a washing machine right in the bathroom was such a relief. That was my favorite thing about Bela Hisa, along with the free coffee. The room was spacious and clean, with all the essentials. The place is very comfortable, and local transport makes it a good base for getting around the city.
