It felt more like staying in someone's home than in a rental apartment. The apartment has a lovely view of the nature around it, and everything is modern and fully equipped, from the washer and dryer and dishwasher to the coffee machine, microwave, kitchenette, spices, coffee, and tea. The location worked really well for us: seven minutes by car to the city center, 10 minutes to the skiing center, and just a minute's walk to bike rental. You can also walk up the nearby hill for a great view of the city and Mariborsko Pohorje. We’ll probably come back to the same place next year.

For a weekend away or a longer stay, this is a great choice. It’s a gorgeous apartment with contemporary design, a fully equipped kitchen, and views over nature. My top pick in Maribor!
