HOP HOUSE Garni Hotel

The town centre is an easy walk from here, and the highway exit is very close. Rooms were clean and comfortable, service was professional, and there’s a nice café and free parking. Highly recommended.

There’s a handy little ground-floor courtyard with a slide and bench for children, and parking right outside the entrance. Larger grocery stores and a shopping centre are nearby. The hotel is charming and not far from Postojna Cave. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a fridge, TV, and the basic necessities. Staff were friendly and helpful. The main drawback was weak sound insulation between rooms, which can make a quiet night difficult.

A hidden gem, highly recommend. After exploring, it’s nice to unwind at the café and bar, and the small aquarium is so neat. Free parking is the best part, since that’s rare in many parts of Slovenia.

There’s a small hotel bar for pizza, coffee, and drinks, and breakfast is available for an extra charge. We skipped it because it seemed quite expensive. The staff were very welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the bathroom had what we needed and was clean. It’s a good place to spend a night alongside a cave visit, though noise is an issue. We could hear neighbours and busy traffic outside.
