We were disappointed when my daughter’s riding lesson, booked a few weeks ahead, was cancelled just a few days before our stay. That was the main reason we came. You can walk around the grounds and see the horses, though. The restaurant food was delicious and beautifully prepared, and breakfast had a great selection with good coffee. Everything was clean, and the shower had strong water pressure. The hotel has a fun, chic barn look, but some choices put style ahead of use. In our room, the bare bulbs were unpleasant to look at, while the covered lights were too dim. The extra bed for our adult daughter was rock hard, with no mattress, just a duvet on a hard piece of furniture.

The food was good, and the staff were generally friendly, though service was uneven. The hotel’s industrial look is interesting, but some design decisions get frustrating. Every light bulb, for instance, has to be switched off separately.

The staff were so kind that they even sent back the watch I’d left in my room. The hotel sits in a beautiful, well-kept forest, and the rooms fit the natural setting, with a breathtaking view. I’m definitely coming back.

The hotel is set among lovely grounds and trees, right next to the Lipica stables. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and my room was very comfortable. The place is a little worn around the edges, but I’d recommend it.

I came with a tour group and found the hotel of my dreams. The style, decor, clever use of space, and even the breakfast were wonderful. Thanks to the cheerful crew for such a great stay.
