Monina and Katerina were amazing, answering my questions and sorting things out to suit my needs. I had a great stay and will come back to Longyearbyen and stay at Haugen Pensjonat again.

The rooms were decent and warm, and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk into town. Staff were excellent and friendly, and ready to help with whatever you might need.

Katarina was a really helpful host and explained what we could find on the island. She also helped us store our luggage.

After a long trip, it was really disappointing to arrive and find that our room wasn’t ready. The shared bathroom wasn’t very clean either, and the whole place felt disorganized. This wasn’t a good place to stay, and I wouldn’t choose it again.

Elena gave us a warm welcome when we arrived in Svalbard and kindly helped us with the things we needed to know about the city. The view was very nice, and the accommodation felt just right. Our cozy, lovely room made the visit pleasant and memorable, and there was a separate fridge for our things.
