The beds were cozy and breakfast was delicious. The location is great, close to the supermarket, shops, and restaurants, though everything is close in Longyearbyen because it’s so small. The downside was the lack of room to put our things. There were no drawers, shelves, or closet, and even the bathroom had hardly anywhere to set skincare or other self-care products.

The location was ideal, near restaurants and shops, with splendid views of the surrounding area. I stayed five nights in late June 2025. The room was clean and commodious, and the staff were friendly and helpful, sharing stories about how they came to Longyearbyen. Breakfasts were outstanding. Staff kept replenishing the buffet items, even near the end of breakfast hours.

My girlfriend’s boots went missing, and the hotel made no effort at all to compensate us for the €215 loss. Guests are required to leave their shoes at reception, but there’s no proper care or security for them. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE.

The hotel is centrally located, right across from the grocery shop and shopping mall. The people working there were incredibly nice, polite, correct, and sexy. Breakfast was amazing and filling, and I want to come back. The room had high-quality furnishings, and I loved the bathroom and shower floor, which I’d never seen anywhere else. The mattress topper was a bit too soft for my taste, though that’s just me. Some guests also came inside without leaving their shoes outside first, even though that’s not the hotel’s fault.

The rooms were very clean, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were really nice and helpful. It had everything we needed for our trip to Longyearbyen, right in the center of town.
