Hotel Arcadia was excellent value, especially with breakfast included. The buffet had a huge range of options, and after a good night's sleep it was a lovely start to the day. I couldn't find anything to fault, especially at such a reasonable price. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Bratislava. The location is right in the old town, along Bratislava's beautiful, quaint streets. Staff were kind and friendly, and check-in and checkout were both quick and smooth. They also made clear we could reach out if we needed anything. The hotel blends traditional European style with modern touches, with a vintage feel we both admired. Our accommodation felt more like a suite than a room: a sitting room and toilet downstairs, then the bedroom and full bathroom upstairs. It was spacious, elegant, and clean, and we quickly felt settled and at home.

We were delighted with our four-night family stay and would book again if we're back in the area. The hotel is right by the old town's main square, but on a fairly quiet street. Our two rooms, a twin and a 'double' with a super king bed, were clean and very spacious, with traditional decor, fridges, and comfortable chairs. The beds were comfortable too. Connecting rooms are available if needed. Breakfast was a treat, with plenty of hot and cold choices, both sweet and savory. There were fresh cakes and pastries, fruit, tasty porridge, hot savory dishes, cold meats and cheese, and lots of cereals. There even seemed to be sparkling wine with spumante glasses. It's self-service, with attentive staff around if you need them, and a generous serving time. The foyer is lovely, with apples and filtered water, plus chocolates near the water to help yourself to. There's also a quiet little bar and lounge just off the foyer. The gym was very small and warm, so we used it much less than planned. We didn't try the spa, which costs extra and is sometimes booked up, so reserve ahead if you want to use it. Our children were between 10 and 15 years old.

We had a lovely quiet midweek break, away from crowded Budapest. Our romantic rooftop duplex suite had comfortable bedding and furniture. In the snow and icy cold, we were glad to return to the warmth and enjoy complimentary tea or coffee in bathrobes. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and breakfast under the medieval arcades was delicious and generous. Near the lobby, look for the tiny door that leads to the underground balcony. We'll be back 🤗

We stayed for 7 days in December 2025 and didn't want to leave. The building is stunning, the location is perfect and felt safe, and all the staff were professional and friendly. The sauna and spa area were outstanding, breakfast was excellent, and everything was clean. The decor is really unique. Highly recommend this place.
