Botel Marina

Marina Botel is right by the bridge and close to the old town, so the location was hard to beat. We stayed a few nights in November 2019. The staff were very helpful, our room stayed warm after days out in November, and breakfast was marvellous. We’d definitely stay again on another visit to Bratislava.

Our double room was cozy, quiet, clean, and very well equipped. The riverside view was peaceful, so ask for a room facing the river, and breakfast was decent. The hotel is beside the city centre but still in a quiet spot on the river, and the staff were lovely. We left a souvenir in the room, and they kindly mailed it all the way to the UK and then wrote off the cost. We’re very grateful.

The views over the Danube are amazing, and the staff are friendly. The location is perfect: you can see Bratislava Castle, walk seven minutes to the city and historic centre, and reach the new bridge in five minutes to catch a bus to Vienna. The price is reasonable too. I love this place and will definitely return.

A fun spot for a couple of nights, with friendly staff who spoke English or German as a second language. Our room was clean but worn, the beds were firm, and the fridge was tiny. There’s no AC, and even with the windows open the air doesn’t circulate very well. Fans are available, but not in every room, so ask for one if you get hot at night. There isn’t a bus or tram stop very close, so it’s a hike from the bridge to the entrance. Also, the party boat next door was really loud late into Saturday night.
