Mamaison Residence Sulekova Bratislava

It’s a quiet residential area, around 900m from the old town and about 1km from Bratislava Castle. Breakfast was fine, with a decent selection, though there were no breakfast tea bags on days two or three, even though nearly everyone asked for them. A bit odd. The room was clean, the AC worked well, and the shower was great. Getting back out over the bath took a big step, though, and there was no bedroom mirror, only one in the bathroom. Rooms were cleaned every three days, which was fine for us. After day two I asked reception for fresh bath towels because ours wouldn’t dry, but they acknowledged the request and never brought them.

The room was clean and good value, and the woman at reception was really helpful. It’s also a great spot, just a short walk from the old town. One thing I’d have liked to know beforehand: the hotel’s online details didn’t mention that parking costs extra.

We booked five nights, and it made a great base to return to after a day of walking. The apartments are roomy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and amenities and tourist sights are only a short walk away. Bring your own pillow if you can, and earplugs for the trucks emptying bins at 4am. They’re especially noisy on glass day. Otherwise, everything was good.

We’d happily stay here again if we come back to Bratislava. The rooms are modern, clean, and felt safe, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very friendly. It’s tucked into a quiet part of the city, but the main attractions are walkable or a ride on Uber for 5 euros or less.
