The hotel is small and close to the railway station, about a 20-minute walk from the city center. Our room was clean, warm, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Martina was very polite and helpful, and even waited for us when we arrived late at night.

Location is the main drawback, since most attractions are quite far away. It was hot inside both day and night, and opening the windows or switching on the standalone fan barely helped. There are plenty of things the owner has clearly put effort into, including small details. The place was clean and spotless in most areas, though I did spot one hair on the corroded towel warmer. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the Wi-Fi worked well the whole time. Sound insulation was good, or perhaps I simply didn't hear anyone. Trains passing on the nearby railway tracks were audible, but street traffic wasn't really noticeable. A couple of things didn't work: the clock seemed to have dead batteries, and the shower fan made a noise when I turned it on, though I don't think it actually worked.

The hotel is very clean and beautiful, and the woman manager is extremely kind and helpful. The nearby train station is the one issue: with the windows open, the noise makes it hard to sleep. When it's hot outside, there's no air-conditioning in the room. Even so, it's a very good place.

The room was tidy, the bed comfortable, and reception staff friendly. We also had a kettle in the room for tea or coffee. For the price, the quality is excellent. Recommended!

The historic center is about a 15-minute walk away. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good, especially for the price.
