Penzion Familia Antol

We probably won’t return. The rooms felt like they were up to 1980s standards, and cleanliness was poor: the shower was filthy and there were cobwebs in the corners. The elderly owners treated us like children at summer camp. We were two families with kids in the gazebo, and the owner kept coming to check on us. The next day we were told to ask permission before lighting the grill.

A quiet little guesthouse with clean, well-equipped rooms. There’s a small kitchen with all sorts of useful things, plus shared spaces in both the yard and cellar, which make it a good fit for larger groups. The breakfast menu could use some improvement.

We were really happy with our stay. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and there was always a basket of fruit in the kitchen. Breakfast was tasty and filling, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful. Since our whole group couldn’t fit, they helped us find rooms at a neighboring guesthouse. They also sorted out transportation and equipment rental for us.

The accommodation itself was fine, and each room had its own social classification. The hosts were a different story. There are darts, but the ones they give you aren’t playable. There’s also a girl, but the grill costs an extra €10, which you don’t find out about in advance. The price we agreed on by phone didn’t work out in the end either, and that surprised me most.
