Hotel Taxis Bratislava

The hotel is well connected to the center, with a couple of bus stops nearby. Our room was simple but had all the utensils we needed. Staff were kind and helpful when we needed them. The service was almost nonexistent, though: we asked twice in five days to have the room cleaned, but it never happened. First they said the cleaner came every two days, then they said we had to request it because she didn’t want to bother guests.

The hotel was clean, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. But our car was stolen from the hotel parking lot. The CCTV wasn’t working, and the police did nothing. The hotel didn’t offer compensation for the stolen items, which were worth €100. They only refunded the last night because we didn’t feel safe staying there. The lack of proper parking security turned our trip into a disaster, so unfortunately we can’t recommend the hotel.

The staff were nice and accommodating, and parking in front of the hotel was easy to access and included in the price. Our booking was very affordable, so we expected a basic breakfast, and that’s what we got. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the new double rooms were spacious, freshly renovated, and clean. The hotel is still being renovated, but it already looks good and should be great. Getting to the city center takes 5-8 minutes by Bolt for about 5 euros, or around 45-60 minutes on foot depending on your fitness. This place seems best for one or two nights. We were satisfied with everything considered, and would stay again if the opportunity came up, especially if it stays affordable after the renovation.

Breakfast is good for 7 euros, and the staff are friendly. It’s not far from the central station. The room was very small, hot, and stuffy, and there was no cleaning during our five days or change of bed linen. The road along the front of the hotel is very narrow.
