We had a good stay for a few days and would recommend it if you’re skiing in Jasna. We were both happy with breakfast and dinner, and the waiters were quick and helpful. Service was kind and patient; the room had the basics needed to rest, without anything fancy. Once there was no hot water, so we had to wait an hour before showering. The hotel is a little far from the lifts, too. We had to spot some stairs, otherwise it’s a long walk in ski boots.

The woman at reception was lovely, friendly, and so helpful. I can’t thank her enough for making us feel at home on our first trip to Slovakia. The hotel staff were five-star. It’s a budget place, so set expectations accordingly. When we stayed, it had a hostel feel, with a large group of teenagers and a lot of noise until 11 pm. Some of the kids also knocked on our door after mistaking it for their room. Free parking was useful, and we could leave the car there on checkout day while we went snowboarding. There are nearby equipment rental places. The buffet breakfast and dinner were okay, with a small selection and very average food. It takes about six minutes to walk to the slopes and join the blue run, or about ten minutes to the lift, maybe a bit less since I walk slowly.

The half-board selection wasn’t very large, but the food was delicious. It’s a good budget hotel, and seems well suited to families with kids, with some attractions indoors and outdoors. A great base for visiting Chopok and Tatralandia, and the Gopass benefits are amazing.
