For a low price, we got a fully equipped room right in the center of Lučenec. The location was great, parking was available, and the service was better than we expected.

A nice complex in a good location, and the price felt fair for the quality.

The rooms were fine and clean, but the common area felt spooky, like it hadn't changed since the last century, and not in a good way. There's potential here, though it would take a lot of time, money and effort. There was no clear information about the lack of a reception. The coffee shop next door handles that, but it's a separate company.

The reception is in the cafe downstairs. You get a card to enter the building and the Reduta Hotel reception, which is out of order while they're trying to rebuild it. Staying in the apartments helps support the reconstruction. The accommodation itself is lovely. We had two duplex rooms with couches, air conditioning and lots of closets, plus a fridge, kettle and microwave. Our other room was a classic one, and it was lovely too.

A duplex with a microwave but no kitchenette is an odd setup. I had to wash a plate in the bathroom, and the bathtub isn't suitable either. Still, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you manage to keep the place going.
