Penzion PKO Nitra

The staff are very kind, and food and drinks at the restaurant are reasonably priced. The location is convenient, close to the river, park, outdoor pools, Nitra castle, and the city center. The pension has been renovated, but it still doesn’t feel fully set up for guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but there’s no air conditioning, the bathrooms don’t ventilate well, and some rooms are very noisy. People gathering outside the small restaurant and café make noise in the evenings, especially affecting first-floor rooms facing the park and river. Breakfast is the same every day, with limited choices and no eggs, for example. The juice is only a little better than water. I’d call the stay acceptable.

I never stayed overnight, but we held a company party there every year for a few years. The venue always looked great, and the place itself was great every time. The party, I can’t say. :)

We had a great time staying with a large group of friends from abroad. The rooms were clean and modern, the staff were friendly, and the bar stays open 24 hours.

The room was cozy and the location very good. The mattresses felt a bit too soft.
