Clean, pleasant surroundings and a cozy place to stay. The prices are good, and breakfast is included.

The water situation only got fixed after several arguments, and the room was still just about warm enough the following day. At first it was freezing, and the hot water stopped working after a while. We slept wearing our hats. The owners seemed to be drinking all the time, so food wasn't something we could rely on. Breakfast was mostly convenience food, with sausages or a few slices of sausage and cheese served with bread. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location is in historic Spišská Sobota, and tourist groups make active use of the hotel. Breakfast is decent, though it's not a buffet. The building is old, and the rooms all seem to have been put together differently. If you get unlucky, you may end up in a musty room with a noticeable sewage smell.

Thick stone walls in this historic building mean you won't get a signal, which makes it a nice spot to switch off and have some privacy. The seating is pleasant, and both the staff and service were good.

The room with the fireplace was superb, and the owner speaks Russian. It's a stylish old house. The food is basic, though people from the neighboring guesthouses come here to eat.
