Breakfast can be purchased, and the castle is just a short walk away. The centre is close too. My room had a lovely view of the castle, and it was clean and tidy with everything I needed, including towels, soap, and bed linen. Highly recommended!

We only spent one night here, with dinner and breakfast. The rooms are small and cheap, and the toilet was extremely tiny and only in the hallway. It’s a very low-budget hotel. We got to the restaurant at 8:25 for breakfast, but most of the food was gone and the staff didn’t replenish it. At dinner, drinks weren’t provided, so we had to buy them. The hotel is close to the castle and has a beautiful view. Parking inside the grounds was a plus. WiFi is available, but the signal was very poor and it didn’t work.

We slept well in this affordable guesthouse, and the staff were friendly. Our room looked out over Spis castle. It’s conveniently located, though the floor creaks and the walls don’t block much sound.

It was all clean, but the kitchen had no sink, so we had to get water in the bathroom. The toilet cubicles are really cramped, and the walls are thin.

The view of the castle from the back yard is amazing at this lovely little pension. At 12 euros, it’s great value, and definitely the place to stay in town.
