The location is superb, and the price is excellent for the quality. Everything else was great too, apart from the bar cocktails. My aperol spritz was so watered down it barely resembled aperol. Maybe it would be different if you order one at the restaurant.

We had relaxed evenings after skiing thanks to the sauna and spa, and the location was amazing for skiing. The bar was great and the food was authentic and plentiful. The rooms are a little dated, but that didn’t spoil our stay.

We stayed at another hotel in the chain last year, Grand Hotel Praha, but this one is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are larger, more spacious, comfortable, and spotless clean. The services are effortless and the staff are friendly, so you feel welcomed. There’s nothing to suggest it’s only a 3* hotel. We’re very happy with our choice, would definitely pick it next time, and strongly advise this hotel.

Even in high season, it seems like good value for the money. We stayed in the so-called economy rooms, and the accommodation was satisfying. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely stunning for a 3 star hotel, with nothing to complain about. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There’s a pool table, table tennis, and a children’s corner. It really does the job for skiers, with the ski lift just a few steps away.
