Central House

The wifi was another disaster. I had to use a mobile hot-spot, and for the money he charges, the owner could provide decent wifi. It wouldn’t be a big investment. Parking was a complete disaster too!!! The owner has six reserved spaces, but employees of nearby facilities illegally park there for him, and he can’t sort it out. On the first day, we had to use the paid Vadas parking lot. When we got back from Vadas in the evening, every space was still taken. So we were waiting for Godot again... We finally parked about an hour after reaching the room, when some poor person decided to finish their work session. As they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression...

The location was excellent, and the owner was pleasant and helpful. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but ours was fine, with a kitchenette, bathroom, and toilet. The beds’ mattresses were too soft for us and uncomfortable.

It was clean, the kitchenette was nice, and the location made it easy to get everywhere. But Apartment No. 5 was disappointing when we arrived. There’s no balcony, just skylights, and if it rains, you can only ventilate through the bathroom window. The description should say that the rooms are on the second floor with no elevator, and that air conditioning costs extra.

It’s a nice place near the pedestrian zone and the Vadaš swimming pool. The accommodation is in the attic with skylights, and air conditioning is available for an extra fee.
