We had dinner there, and the pork ribs were tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast had a very good range, including sausages. The host was attentive and helpful during our pleasant stay. Set among the trees outside the city, it's very quiet. Our room was spacious, with the bed upstairs, and we slept well.

The location is pleasant and convenient, and the older gentleman who seems to own the place can be quite nice to talk with. We stayed two nights, and the cooked meals were traditional local food. The breakfast, though, was a cheap supermarket-style buffet, which felt like a letdown given the care put into the meals. Sliced bread at breakfast seemed to include leftovers from the previous evening. I hate wasting food, but that struck me as unhygienic and potentially dangerous during COVID-19. When equipment or furniture in our room was broken, we reported it on arrival, but the owner didn't seem customer-oriented, and we had to push to get it sorted.

The interior is lovely, the atmosphere is great, and the food is wonderful for the price. We were served as expected, even though the staff didn't speak English, or maybe we were just unlucky. Parking is limited. Highly recommend it.

The food was very good, and the place is really nice. It's only about 5 minutes from Žilina, so well worth the trip.
