The room and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The hotel sits at the top of a hill in San Marino city, with a view of the park below and down the hill from a nearby viewpoint. The staff were friendly, even though nobody spoke English fluently. We always managed to communicate. I'm grateful breakfast was available because it saved time and effort in the morning. Most of it was very sweet pastries, which aren't usually my thing, but the coffee was excellent. I rarely drink stronger coffee.

The room was okay and the AC worked well, but there was very little soundproofing. I could hear most of what the neighbors said and did. The area and location were fantastic, and the view was nice. The restaurant has a fantastic view and the food was perfectly fine. Breakfast was coffee or tea, a croissant, cake and juice. It was okay, though an egg, fruit or yogurt would have been welcome. Service was good, especially from the younger waiters, and Valentina did an excellent job. The middle-aged gentleman with thinning hair who works in the restaurant could use a customer service course.

A nice little hotel with lovely views. I'd visit again.

The hotel and room are a little dated, but the view and the price make up for that. Breakfast is included too.

The internet was the one real drawback. It was so slow I couldn't watch Netflix on my laptop. Still, the place is beautiful, close to the cable car and only about 7 minutes from the bus station. There's a restaurant with good pizza. Breakfast was included, with a simple croissant, cake and coffee of your choice. Not bad value.
