The staff made our stay at Boma Hotel feel special, especially Aboudou, whose hospitality was outstanding. They went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and the birthday cake was such a thoughtful surprise. The hotel itself is beautiful and feels like an oasis. We had an amazing visit and will miss everyone. Highly recommend it.

We ended up extending our stay at BOMA. It’s such a peaceful, beautiful oasis, and the staff were amazing and helpful the whole time, which made everything easy. I’ll be back again and again.

The food and drinks are always great, and the staff are fantastic. I’ve been to Boma several times, and every visit has topped the last. The vegan mafe is phenomenal, though I usually go for the cheeseburger. Great place for lunch, dinner, or drinks if you like positive vibes and a poolside setting.

I loved this hotel when I visited in 2021. The rooms were spotless, the decor was beautiful, and the service was excellent. More than four years later, things have changed a lot. My first room had bugs and cobwebs around the patio door, dark water stains by the bathroom entrance, and a bucket catching a leak. I turned it down and got another room with fewer problems, but the cleaning was still poor. Corners and surfaces looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for days, and the rooms show clear wear. The pool, restaurant, front desk staff, and location are positives, but I can’t recommend staying here until maintenance and room cleanliness improve.

This place is a gem, and part of me wants to keep it to myself. If you’re in Dakar, it’s a calm, clean, beautifully designed spot that goes beyond what I expect from a regular hotel. I’d happily come back again. ❤️
