For backpackers, it's an ideal place if all you need is a bed, hot water, and a kitchen. Jeff and Tatiana were friendly and flexible hosts, and had good suggestions for things to do in the city. The location is great, though the place could use more visible signage. For the price, it works well.
It's cheap, clean, and in a great location. I found the owner pretty miserable rather than friendly, and didn't feel comfortable asking her questions. The beds were comfortable, but the room was extremely hot and stuffy, with seven other bunk beds, one small window, 30-degree heat, and no fan.
The people were nice and got me a fan, but it's hot without air conditioning. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't come back, and would rather spend more for a nicer place.
It was the cheapest backpackers' hostel I could find.
A good option if you want somewhere affordable and well located. The managers speak English, too.
