The location made getting around easy, with everything in the city walkable and taxis available for trips farther out. The property is gated, with a security guard day and night. Our spacious room was clean and generally in good shape, though a few walls could use attention and the bathroom could use some mold control. Staff were welcoming and ready to help. There was construction during our stay, but we barely noticed it. I'd definitely return on my next visit.

The poolside setting is lovely for relaxing, with palm trees and a bar that also serves dinner. Staff respond to requests in a friendly, customer-focused way. The rooms are okay and come with a fridge, cooker, suitable beds, working air conditioning, and a clean bathroom and toilet. Dinner service is the drawback: it usually takes over an hour from ordering to reaching the table, so patience is needed.

Update: I've lowered my rating from five stars to one. After my last stay, I booked another visit for a funeral, but had to cancel. I've emailed several times since then and still haven't received a refund or a reply. That's disappointing, especially since I was planning to return, but I can't if this is how customers are treated. Another update: My emails are still being ignored, which is very disturbing and completely unacceptable. Anyone planning to stay should be sure before paying. Getting a refund seems out of the question, and I lost all the money I worked hard for. Original review: A hidden gem right in the city. The rooms are comfortable, the staff are very friendly, and the food is okay. I'd highly recommend it.

A decent, pretty average three-star hotel. Nothing particularly impressive, but it isn't bad or shabby either. The attached photos will give you a better idea.
