The view is lovely, but that was the only good part of lunch. I’ve stayed here before, and the rooms are roomy, though very basic: just beds and air conditioning. This time there was a roach in the bathroom. The food was awful, with my fish nearly burned, and it took 30 minutes before anyone took my order and two hours for it to arrive. Maybe they were short staffed, even though it was a Thursday. Parking costs $12, which includes pool access and is credited toward your food. The pina colada was just okay too, a little cocktail-making know-how would help. One of my worst experiences for food and service.
We were a group visiting the restaurant, and the entrance fee was supposed to be $12 per person, credited toward the meal with us paying any difference. At the end they tried to charge us $271.75. When I questioned it, the woman told me I could add it up myself, which felt unprofessional. I reminded her we'd already paid the $12 each, and she said, “Oh, that's right,” then rewrote the paper bill. The new total was lower but still didn't add up. They also add a 10% gratuity even though the service wasn't good. We felt robbed and like they scam a lot of people. Never coming back.
A great spot with beach access, wifi, and friendly staff. I paid $5 to camp and stayed for two nights. There are chickens, rabbits, little birds, and talking parrots around. Sunday was packed when I arrived, but by Monday it had gone quiet. The location is great, and I'd recommend it.
The place isn't well maintained, and the pool is small and not very clean. The price feels far too high for what's offered. During our stay the power went out at 11 am, leaving us without water, air conditioning, or electricity, and nothing was offered to make up for it. I know the outage wasn't their fault, but other places would at least give a small discount for the inconvenience.
We parked our van here for a week and felt it was a nice, safe place to stay. It's really close to the beach, and there were lots of kids enjoying the pool. The staff are very nice, and there's a restaurant that serves fresh clams every day. Camping was about $5 a night. The showers aren't private, and there's no toilet paper, so bring your own. The rooms aren't too expensive, but the walls don't go all the way up, so you can hear the neighbors pretty clearly. See ig: somewherewithsara for more photos and daily story's.
