We usually went for the shrimp tacos and fish ceviche, both fresh and tasty, though the presentation varied a little sometimes. I also loved the Piña Colada with two extra rum shots. We could walk here from our hotel, which didn’t have any decent restaurants nearby.

I was disappointed with the piña colada. It had condensed milk and red syrup, tasted unpleasant, and was nothing like a traditional one. The service also lacked kindness and basic attentiveness. What really concerned me was seeing forks and knives being washed in the bathroom sink. Overall, a disappointing experience. DO NOT GO!!lll

The sound of waves on the beach was lovely to fall asleep to, and waking up to that view was special. It’s a small hotel, but very pretty, with lovely rooms, and you could spend a few nights or even a few weeks here. It’s a beautiful piece of El Salvador, highly recommended. The hotel is a hidden Jem right beside the sea, in a great location. The seafood at the restaurant was delicious, especially the chicharron and garlic fish fillet. Our waiter Wilmer couldn’t do enough for us, and everything was reasonably priced.

The only real highlight was the ocean view. I stayed for the weekend, and it was empty, nothing like what they advertised, with no DJ until Sunday night. The pictures online and on social media make it look beautiful, but once you arrive it’s very different. It didn’t feel like the luxury they’re selling. The room was decent, but the food and drinks were overpriced. The area was hard to find, very dark, and full of potholes. Breakfast cost 20, though it was worth about 5, and took 40 minutes to arrive. They never answer the phone, and there’s no security. The shower water smelled and came out cold. If you visit for the day without staying there, they charge you for everything, including access to the very small, shallow pool.
