Hostal Las Puertas - Hostel

The small garden in the middle is lovely, and the location is really good, about a 7-minute walk from the city center. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and the price was good for what you get. I’d highly recommend it. The only downside is that the shower takes a while to get hot.

Right in the heart of Santa Ana, this hotel has rooms that are very good for the price, and the staff are always happy to help. They provide parking a couple of blocks away during the day. At night, it’s easy to find parking right in front of the hotel.

The staff are fantastic, and the place feels friendly, safe, and very clean. It’s in an excellent location for the historic center, and the hot shower has good pressure.

A little pricey for what you get, though it’s still a very good place to stay in Santa Ana. The staff were especially friendly and attentive. They don’t speak English, but they really listen. I’ve stayed here twice, even though it was a bit over my budget. It’s not hotel-expensive, and if you’re at all worried about safety in Santa Ana, I think the extra comfort and security are worth it. The rooms are clean and well kept, the toilet and showers work well and have hot water, and there’s AC and a TV with English channels. You have to ring the bell each time you come back in, which might seem like a hassle, but it never caused much of a problem. You can also use the kitchen. Highly recommended.
