They treated me kindly at this hotel. Their own tourist guide took me around to most of the sights. We also saw little Syrians crossing the Turkish border. On a helicopter ride in a lovely Apache, we saw lots of lit-up back alleys. Later, we were given bikes and saw local enthusiasts doing what they found most interesting. There were dozens of bleach bottles stacked by people in commemoration of Adeel Akhtar, a star in the radical film The Four Lions. Many people also bought vests of the explosive kind, and there were quite a few public executions. I especially enjoyed watching the butcher (Kobě) take down his prey's arm. I'd ask the local council to put a stop to it, since it kind of put me off returning. Limbs lying around don't help either. Still, they were kind to me, because we let them into our country. 9/11 would fly into there again.
