Andaman Breeze Resort -

The hotel is comfortable and relaxing, though a bit far from the beach. We especially enjoyed the second-floor pool, a lovely place for a quiet afternoon after morning activities. Breakfast ran from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, with healthy choices, fresh fruit, and vegetables. The restaurant was a nice surprise too, especially the spaghetti and pizza. Andaman Breeze Resort provided free water every day, plus coffee, tea, and umbrellas, which was convenient. Slippers or shoes in the rooms would have been a welcome addition. Laundry at the hotel costs 100 baht per kg for washing and drying, and they weigh the clothes wet. There's a laundry place just outside charging 50 baht, so that's a better deal if you want to save.

I spent three nights at this resort and found it far below a premium hotel standard. Service was frustratingly slow. Whenever we asked for help or basic items, staff said they were short-handed, and we had to wait a long time. The room was missing basic amenities: there was no dental kit, the front desk had no iron when I asked, and they refused to provide an extra pillow. Breakfast was the same every morning, with very few vegetarian choices and only two or three options at the live counter. Mosquitoes and flies were all over the breakfast area, and I even saw a fly land right on my breakfast bowl, which was disgusting. Lizards were crawling in the public corridors and in guest rooms too.

Getting around from the hotel took some planning, since we needed a scooter or other transport. The small shuttle ran only twice a day, which wasn't enough for exploring freely. The rooms and shared spaces also felt tired: some sheets were stained, and the common areas were hot with the main AC off and doors open for airflow. You only get one key card per room, so taking it out means the AC switches off too. They charged extra for almost everything, including a spare sheet for our toddler under 3, and asked for 300bht at checkout because a towel was apparently extra dirty after we used it to clean spilled milk. The place resembles its online photos and could be nice, but it felt like saving money mattered more than guests' comfort. Better cleanliness, upkeep, and a little generosity would make a difference.

The pool incident around 11:30 AM on 23rd May really soured things for me. My friend had been swimming for about half an hour without the staff member turning on the pump, but when foreign guests arrived she switched on both the pump and music right away. It came across as unfair treatment. When I asked how much drinks cost, she answered with a sigh, which felt unprofessional, and her poor service affected my stay. I checked in on 21st May 2026 and left on 24th May 2026. Reception and café staff were friendly and served us well. Please give the pool staff member proper customer service training.
