The best parts of Silk Condo, unit A402, were the spacious rooms, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and those sea views from the balcony. You could also see the mountains and city, and the pool was a highlight. It’s close to the beach and main attractions, though the walk back up the steep hill is worth factoring in. A shuttle runs from 8am to 10pm and helps with that. There’s no room service or daily hotel-style service, so it feels more like a private condo. My unit was in Building A, at the very top and back of the property. Getting there was a hassle, either through Building B or up several flights of stairs before reaching the elevator. Coming back to the room felt like a long trip each time. There was dust all over the unit. I had to clean the air-conditioning filters myself because they were clogged with dust. Some kitchen dishes still had food stains, so I washed them before using them. The shower was disappointing too, with weak pressure and water that needed constant temperature adjustments. If you can get past those issues, the place still has plenty to enjoy.
