Baan Bussara

The owners were warm and kind, helped with directions and local tips, and made everything easy from check-in to leaving. It felt like they cared about us, and the whole guesthouse had a relaxed, friendly, homely feel. I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Ayutthaya. It was great value, clean and comfortable. The room was spotless and cared for, with a comfortable bed, fridge, reliable air-con, and enough space to unpack. Nights were quiet, so I slept well. The shower was warm rather than hot, but felt refreshing after being out in the sun. There was strong Wi-Fi and drinking water, plus a shared seating area and kettle for morning coffee or tea. You can rent bicycles and scooters/peds at the property, making it easy to head out. It's on a peaceful street, close to the historical park and temples, with the night market about a three-minute walk away. I liked wandering around there for food in the evening. There are cafes nearby too. Feng Coffee is a short ride away and a nice place to take a break over good coffee. It's near everything, while still feeling local and away from traffic and noise.
