Sandee Place Mountain View Chomthong

The mountain views are beautiful, and the place is really quiet. My room was super comfortable and clean, and the service was great.

From the hotel, there are several spots to enjoy the mountain scenery, and the whole place feels peaceful. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the start. Our clean, well-equipped room had a large fridge, kettle, and effective air conditioning. We didn't use the small soaking pool, but it looked inviting. Breakfast at the coffee shop was good and available for a small fee. A 7Eleven is a short walk away, as are evening markets with delicious local food. The hotel can arrange scooter rentals, which was a thoughtful option, though our family already had transport. Staff also shared useful local advice, including where to get affordable laundry service nearby. Sandee Place Mountain View Hotel was a comfortable, quiet base for exploring the area, and we'd recommend it.

I paid a bit more for a mountain-view room. It did have a small balcony and a view, though it wasn't great. The roof deck has a better one. The hotel is clean and nice, and covered parking was handy. The price is good too. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, with not much nearby, which could be a plus or a minus. The views would have been better if there hadn't been burning while I was there.

We liked the place enough to extend our stay. The staff were great, and the rooms were clean and spacious, with hot showers. Fresh towels, bananas, and snacks were provided every day. There are coin-operated washing machines onsite. We pre-ordered breakfast daily and some dinners; the food was decent, and the coffee was pretty good. Our balcony room had a nice view, while the rooftop terrace had a great one. It's a good base for exploring Doi Inthanon, but you'll need a bike. Some nights we could faintly hear a dog barking.
