1Sabai Hostel

I booked a Deluxe room and found it clean and well kept, with a cupboard. My stay was pleasant, and, as mentioned, the washroom is shared with the room on the same floor. 1Sabai Hostel is affordable and conveniently placed in the Sukhumvit area, within walking distance of public transport and several well-known establishments.

Listen, it's an okay hostel, but not especially good. You might see the high rating and expect a fair price for a good stay. They offer free laundry if you leave a five-star rating, which could explain those scores. It's fine, just nothing special, and that laundry deal may have earned them stars they don't deserve.

It's very central and looks like a good spot, but this was the worst hostel experience I've had. The building is old and dirty. My room was fine, but the rest smelled bad and was filthy, especially the bathrooms. Being by a busy road also means noise from speeding tuk tuks, and I couldn't sleep because the windows don't lock properly. It's cheap, but that's about all it has going for it. Don't stay here!

I felt scammed. This was one of the worst hostels I've stayed in, and it doesn't look like the pictures. I paid a bit more than for other places because the photos showed a fancy front desk and a kitchen with all the utilities, but neither exists. The washroom looked like one in India, and there were really weird people in my room. The main area smelled like cat excrement and was messy and dirty. Check out my photos, including under my bed. Sorry, but the staff seem so lazy. Not recommended!
